Saturday's game was rained out, and was played as part of a doubleheader (2 seven-inning games) on Sunday. The Threshers won Game 1 by a score of 7-3. Play Catch
Parent-Kid Catch returns tomorrow starting at 6:20pm.

Former Thresher Update
Pete Shier and Luke Lockwood are currently playing for the Camden Riversharks. The Riversharks play in the independent Atlantic League.

Shier is batting .275 in 55 games, while Lockwood has struck out 18 in eight starts.

Bonus Baseball
Due to heavy rains in our region throughout the month of July, we are playing a doubleheader here against the Flying Tigers on Friday, August 31. There is also the potential for an additional doubleheader here against the Flying Tigers on a date to be determined. They are seven-inning games. Game 1 on August 31 will now start at 5:00pm with Game 2 scheduled to start approximately 30 minutes after the completion of Game 1.

FEEDING FRENZY's were good at the beginning of the season, but at the end they stunk!!!! Disgusting!

What were the differences between the beginning and end of the season? What did you find "disgusting"?

It started going down-hill when Two-Buks came in. Crappy bar food=heart burn city. Buffalo Wild Wings=Night in the bathroom. Dagwood's=Maybe we won't show-up. Honey Baked Ham=Let's take a ham, role it in the dirt and bake it. BBQ ribs sucked!

What types of guest restaurants would you prefer?

I agree with the person posting. The best was Chipotle Grill and Lee Roy Selmons. Lee Roys was the best BBQ I've ever had! The other places sucked! I don't know if you all were just trying to get some restaurants out there but someone sacrificed quality. Plus at the beginning of the season we were able to get a couple of slices of pizza at a time, now you can only get one? I paid for the ticket, you should give me my food!

The portion limits were instituted so that all guests would be able to enjoy the various food products located throughout the ballpark in a timely manner.

Guests are still able to visit each food station repeatedly.
