Fisher and Boys Birthday Bash plus More

It looks like several thousand folks enjoyed the show. The concourse looked pretty crowded and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Meanwhile over in Lakeland, the Threshers dropped the first game of the series to the Tigers 5-2. Happ took the L for the Threshers.

Prior to the ballgame, OF Matt Thayer was placed on the disabled list. Doug Morales was added to the Threshers roster to take his place.

Busy morning so far....

I'm trying to get everything organized for all the group outings here tonight at the ballpark. We've got 9 groups on the schedule for tonight, not to mention a giveaway and the St. Petersburg Times Family Night. It's partly cloudy, cool, and it looks like it could be a great night at the ballpark.

Former Thresher Hamels Looks Good in Triple-A Debut

Looks like the weather up north isn't bothering Cole. He mowed down the Norfolk Tide batters in his Triple-A debut. In just 7 innings he struck out 14 and only gave up 3 hits to lead Scranton to the W.

View from the Ticket Office

It's been a relatively busy day with guests coming up and buying tickets for Fisher & Boys Birthday Bash on Saturday (4/29). The calls and questions have picked up as well. It looks like we might have a nice crowd out for it. Tonight is Fun 'N Sun Night at the ballpark and also Thirsty Thursday (2 for 1 on ALL drinks) so we're hoping for a nice walk-up crowd.

See the Threshers Capture First Place

The Threshers have been playing great baseball this season and have a chance to take over first place tonight vs. Fort Myers!
