Threshers Hit the Road for 4 games in 2 Days

The Threshers head back to Lakeland today and tomorrow and will attempt to play four games in two days. The reason for the back-to-back doubleheaders is that the series was washed out on July 4, 5, and 6.

There is another doubleheader scheduled for August 14 in Lakeland to make up the remaining game from the earlier series.

Andrew Carpenter picked up win #13 tonight. Now just 2 shy of the all-time Clearwater record of 15 wins in a season. You Go Carp!

With the games for Tuesday being rained out, and the only other visit to Lakeland this year already being a double header to make up a previous rain out will the games just be cancelled, or may they be played as part of a double header in Clearwater with Lakeland playing the home team in one half of the DH?
