Stott named Phillies Pitcher of the Month

The awards keep rolling in for Threshers players this year. Pitcher Zac Stott has just been named Phillies Pitcher of the Month for May. You might recall that Patrick Overholt was honored with the same award for the month of April.

Look for a story on the Official Site soon.

Updated 5:00pm: The Player of the Month for May was Jason Donald (Lakewood). He was also honored today with a promotion to our roster. I'll have more information on Jason Donald and other recent roster moves over the next couple of days.

Who do you think he should replace at Reading?

Personally I don't care who he replaces at Reading, I just want to actually see the guy. I finally got to see him pitch for the first time the other day (not a great outing), but the pitchers in general need to come out of the bullpen once in awhile, if only to let the fans see their faces and what they look like. Unfortunately the pitchers for the Threshers never come out to see the fans, they are almost always hiding in the pen. I know a few of the guys that actually do come out, like Overholt, Outlaw (Outman), and Harker, but the rest... well, I wouldn't recognize them if I were to pass them on the street. I think it is a shame that I don't even know what Stott, or Wiley, or others even look like. It would be great if on off days, they would greet the fans, or at least come out for autographs.
