Will Jiwan James start his pro career with the Threshers?

He says that James has been visiting with Phillies officials in Clearwater and has decided to sign with the Phillies instead of going to play baseball at the University of Florida. According to the article, his high school coach also expects him to start his professional career with the Threshers.
