Phuture Phillies recently profiled Threshers slugger Jeremy Slayden.

You can check out their whole post here.

This has nothing to do with Slayden, but I will say it's a bit surreal having just watched Mike Zagurski get the Braves out 1-2-3 in his MLB debut tonight, a mere 13 days after last seeing him take the mound for the Threshers. Forget Gordon, forget Myers, the Z-man is here!

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't heard he made his debut. I just checked the Phillies site and they only have a single line stating that he was recalled from Reading and pitched a perfect 8th inning. Attaway Zags!!

Thanks for the comments. I was away for a few days and just received the email this morning that Zagurski was called up. I did watch part of the Phils-Braves series on TV, but the only former Clearwater person I saw was Ryan Howard. On the plus side for him, he hit a HR.
